"New pieces for the Fall season "

The Form study and Studio Portrait Collections will be seeing new pieces this week with the coming of the fall season!

Featured Image:

"After the Drought" is designed with the neutral beige and brown colors of Southwestern style landscapes combined with the stark sharp lines of cubist designs to create an image that implies the arid dry conditions of the desert. Complex and multifaceted in it's texture, from the burlap robe to the smoky dusty storm brewing in the background, this piece is sure to capture attention and inspire conversation.

THE POEM BEHIND THE PAINTING

Every picture here began as a poem.

Most art starts with a blank canvas. Mine starts with a finished poem. “Me and Them” is a confessional piece — barbed fingers, stone legs, cupped empty hands. When I asked the machine to find its visual equivalent, it produced Night, Watching.

my fingers are barbed
my eyes are bleeding, bleeding,
my legs are stone
my mouth is alabaster
I am poison, killing myself
